Contra indications:
Nitroglycerin is containdicated in patients with early myocardial intacto severe anaemia, increased intracranial pressure and those with a known persensitivity to Nitroglycerin. Precautions: Excessive use may lead to the development of tolerance. The drug should be used cautiously in patients with volume depletion or low systolic blood pressure.

Side-effects: The tablets may cause side effects such as: Dizziness or light headedness, especially when getting up from a lying or sitting

Drug Interactions: Concomitant use of nitrates with alcohol, antihypertensives, neuroleptics and tricyclic anti-depressant may cause hypotension. Use in pregnancy and lactation: There is no evidence relating to the safety of nitrates in pregnancy and lactation. Nitrate should not be administered to pregnant women and
nursing mothers unless considered essential by the physician. Storage: Store below 30°C away from sunlight.
